Super friendly long haired senior
DOB: 04-20-xxxx Age: 7 years old
Ned is a wonderful boy. Very friendly and easy to handle and carry. He would love to sit with you and be brushed. Beautiful long fur without a tendency to get knots. He is seven but has no health issues. He suffered with dental disease as a kitten and has most of his teeth removed so that will no longer be an issue. He enjoys kibble though and has no trouble eating without teeth.
He has not been exposed to a dog so not sure how he would take to one. He would love living with another nice cat. He might be ok as a single if someone is home with him - he likely would not like being alone all day. He will need a little adjustment time in a new home so you must provide him with a 'safe room' for a week. However he will warm up to you immediately.
Ned is eligible for our 'foster-to-adopt' program. That means you take Ned home for a period of time (usually around one month) to see if you are a match - does your family and pets like him and does he like your family and pets. If it turns out to be a match, then we will complete the adoption process. While the cats is in the foster-to-adopt program, he still belongs to Cat Support Network and we cover any medical needs. It a great way to see if you are both ready to commit!
