Alaskan Malamute - Stella - Extra Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Please note we do NOT adopt to homes with small animals. Also Norsled does not adopt outside the Northern California/ Central California area. Malamute Stella is a 5 year old, female Malamute with some other mix in her possibly German Shepherd. This makes her not only tall and very formidable looking as a guard dog, but of course she has the speed and agility and jumping abilities to go along with it. She is strong-willed and stubborn to be sure, but after getting her exercise she can be very loving and even docile as she naps during the day. She is house broken, and does well on a leash. Stella was clearly abused as a young dog and was in and out of a few foster homes. Stella would do well as an only dog preferably with a female who wants a constant companion.
